The Mysteries of the Rosary: Three-part Cards

May is the month of Our Lady, so this month I’m sharing Montessori-inspired three-part art cards depicting the Mysteries of the Rosary for FREE. I made these for the boys in our co-op to use in our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium. They are a beautiful way to teach your children about the mysteries of the rosary.

Here’s what they look like:

The wonderful thing about three-part cards is that there are so many ways to use them, depending on your child’s age and ability.

You can help your child match picture to picture, then title to title.

You can lay out all five cards of a mystery, then read one short description card at a time and have your child find where it goes.

You can help your child put the pictures in order.

Or you can simply give your child the cards to look at while they’re praying the rosary.

And so on…

Here’s a little video of Junior using the Luminous Mysteries cards:

The pictures are taken directly from my book The Rosary in Art for Children. So if you’re looking for short child-friendly meditations to go with each picture, you’ll find them in there.
